Sharon M. Morien
Sharon Morien is Vice President of GovHR USA. She joined Voorhees Associates in 2009 as the Managing Director. Prior to this, Ms. Morien spent ten years with The PAR Group as a Vice President and Managing Director, where she participated in both executive search and general management consulting assignments. Ms. Morien received her Master’s Degree Certificate in Human Resource Management from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois. She also acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and an Associate Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Throughout her career, Ms. Morien has been involved in all aspects of over 100 recruitments and has expertise in performing Management Studies, which included Pay and Classification Studies, Salary/Benefit Surveys and Analysis, Performance Evaluation Studies, and Strategic Management Planning Sessions.
Currently, Ms. Morien is working out of our Florida office where her area of concentration and expertise is in conducting Assessment Centers. She has designed and facilitated countless Assessment Centers for City Administrators, Executive Directors, Department Directors, and various staff members, as well as promotional Assessment Centers for public safety positions.
As a former Personnel Technician at Family Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and as a Human Resources Assistant with the Village of Skokie, Illinois, along with her tenure as a public management Consultant, Ms. Morien has over 20 years of experience in the combined areas of human resource management, local government, and public management consulting.
