Construction Project Manager (Temporary Contractual Position – 6-9 months)

MGT Impact Solutions is accepting resumes from qualified candidates for a six to nine-month temporary position of Construction Project Manager in the Facilities and Construction Services Department at Lake County, Illinois.
Selected candidate will be an employee of MGT with services contracted to the county. The position will begin right away and is expected to continue for most of the year. Work schedule is flexible. Anticipated work week is 20 +/– hours.
General Description. The CPM manages and executes capital projects and design process and will act as Lake County’s agent in the management of projects. The position is under the direction of the county’s Facilities Manager.
Position Requirements.
- Significant experience in facility management, building construction, construction management, civil engineering, or architecture. Relevant credentials are preferred.
- Some familiarity with construction/project management software.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret building designs and construction plans, control drawings, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications and government requirements.
