JOB TITLE:                         Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

DUTIES AND

REQUIREMENTS:            Under limited supervision, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing the recruitment and selection process for the County of Will. The position supports workforce planning, enhances recruitment strategies and ensures compliance with County policies, collective bargaining agreements, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws. This role is responsible for complex professional and administrative functions critical to the success of the Human Resources Department.  Assist with the training and roll-out of the new HRIS/Payroll system’s Talent/HR module. Preserve confidentiality of sensitive and personal information. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager II.

 

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 3 years’    experience performing complex and responsible duties in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting and job placement, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License is required, and minimum automobile insurance as required by law. Public sector experience within a union environment is preferred. SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR Certification preferred.

 

DEPARTMENT:                 Will County Human Resources Department

 

SALARY RANGE:             $60,000 (Minimum Compensation) -$70,000 (Maximum Compensation) (Exempt)
