Mary Pratt, CEM, MEP, IPEM, MBA has a unique and extensive background in public safety beginning as a Police Officer in a western suburb. She later was offered a position as the Director of Events for the same community managing several large special events, and prepared incident action plans (IAPs) for each. Several years later, she was tapped to become the Emergency Manager, which included all-hazard emergency plan development and Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) training and exercise.
Mary managed those duties for several years before taking an Emergency Management position with the City of Chicago’s Department of Aviation. There she led emergency management training and exercise projects at both Midway and O’Hare International Airports.
