MGT is seeking an experienced Banner Finance Functional Analyst to fill a long-term assignment for one of their clients, Selected candidate will be an employee of MGT for 12-36 months with possible extension.

Job Title: Banner Finance Functional Analyst
location: Remote
 
Job Summary:
Provide functional and operational support for the Banner Finance module, assisting Finance users with daily operations, troubleshooting, reporting, and business process improvements while maintaining system reliability during the ERP transition.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Daily Banner Finance operational support.
  • Functional issue resolution and production support.
  • SQL queries, Argos reporting, and financial data validation.
  • Functional documentation and process improvements.
  • Testing support for upgrades and enhancements.
  • Knowledge transfer and best-practice recommendations for Finance users.
 
Additional Expectations :
  • Provide responsive day-to-day operational and production support.
  • Collaborate with functional departments and IT teams.
  • Develop SQL queries and Evisions Argos reports to support business operations.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and mentor University business analysts.
  • Recommend Banner ERP and higher education best practices.
  • Support continuity of operations during the University's ERP migration initiative.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years supporting Banner Finance.
  • Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Budget, and Finance reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced Oracle SQL and Evisions Argos skills.
  • Experience supporting Banner Finance production environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
