MGT is seeking an experienced Banner HCM Functional Analyst to fill a long-term assignment for one of their clients, Selected candidate will be an employee of MGT for 12-36 months with possible extension.

Job Title: Banner Human Capital Management (HCM) Functional Analyst
location: Remote
 
Job Summary:
Provide functional support for Banner Human Capital Management (HCM), including Human Resources and Payroll operations. Support business users with daily operational activities, reporting, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer while ensuring continuity of HR and Payroll processes.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operational support for Banner HCM and Payroll.
  • Resolution of functional and production issues.
  • SQL queries, Argos reporting, and HR/Payroll data validation.
  • Functional documentation and process recommendations.
  • UAT support for system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Knowledge transfer and mentoring for University HR staff.
 
Additional Expectations :
  • Provide responsive day-to-day operational and production support.
  • Collaborate with functional departments and IT teams.
  • Develop SQL queries and Evisions Argos reports to support business operations.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and mentor University business analysts.
  • Recommend Banner ERP and higher education best practices.
  • Support continuity of operations during the University's ERP migration initiative.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years supporting Banner HCM/HR and Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources and Payroll business processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Oracle SQL and Evisions Argos skills.
  • Experience supporting Banner HCM production environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
