MGT is seeking an experienced Banner Student Functional Analyst to fill a long-term assignment for one of their clients, Selected candidate will be an employee of MGT for 12-36 months with possible extension.

Job Title: Banner Student Functional Analyst
Location: Remote

Job Summary:
Provide functional support for the Banner Student module, including Admissions, Registration, Academic Records, Student Accounts, and Registrar-related processes. Support day-to-day operations while assisting campus users with process improvements, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operational support for Banner Student functions.
  • Functional analysis and issue resolution.
  • SQL queries, Argos reports, and data validation.
  • Business process documentation and user guides.
  • UAT support for enhancements and upgrades.
  • Knowledge transfer and best-practice recommendations for Student Services.
 
Additional Expectations :
  • Provide responsive day-to-day operational and production support.
  • Collaborate with functional departments and IT teams.
  • Develop SQL queries and Evisions Argos reports to support business operations.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and mentor University business analysts.
  • Recommend Banner ERP and higher education best practices.
  • Support continuity of operations during the University's ERP migration initiative.
 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Minimum 5 years supporting Banner Student.
  • Experience with Admissions, Registration, Academic Records, and Student lifecycle processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Oracle SQL and Evisions Argos skills.
  • Experience with Banner troubleshooting, documentation, and production support.
  • Preferred experience with Degree Works, Banner Self-Service, and CRM solutions.
