Position Title: Change Management Coordinator
 
MGT Impact Solutions is seeking a qualified candidate to be a Change Management Coordinator for its confidential public-sector client.
The Change Management Coordinator role is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.


Primary Duties
The Change Management Coordinator will support the successful implementation of the Client’s Time & Labor Project by coordinating change management communications, training activities, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness efforts. The position will work closely with the ITS PMO Project Manager and other project stakeholders to support the effective adoption of new timekeeping tools and business processes. 

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate the development and execution of the project’s change management plan, addressing the needs of payroll administrators, managers, and end users. 
  • Prepare and distribute clear project communications, implementation timelines, user guidance, and other change-related materials. 
  • Maintain stakeholder lists and help identify, document, and track organizational and operational impacts across multiple departments. 
  • Monitor stakeholder readiness and support the identification of adoption risks, concerns, and resistance. 
  • Coordinate training schedules, participant communications, facilities, technology, materials, and other training logistics. 
  • Develop and maintain user reference materials, including job aids, frequently asked questions, quick-reference guides, and presentation materials. 
  • Gather, document, and escalate user feedback received during pilot activities, testing, training, and rollout. 
  • Maintain change readiness dashboards, communication calendars, action logs, and project status reports. 
  • Support cutover and go-live activities by coordinating communications, user support, and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Collaborate with project managers, functional teams, technical teams, department representatives, payroll administrators, and other stakeholders. 
  • Perform other related change management and project support duties as assigned. 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required
  • Knowledge of organizational change management principles, methodologies, and practices. 
  • Knowledge of stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training coordination, and readiness assessment. 
  • Knowledge of HR operations, payroll administration, timekeeping processes, or related business functions. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively through multiple formats, including email, presentations, printed materials, virtual meetings, and in-person sessions. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and deadlines. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different organizational levels. 
  • Ability to develop clear, concise, and user-friendly reference materials. 
  • Ability to identify stakeholder concerns, gather feedback, and escalate issues appropriately. 
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools. 
  • Familiarity with timekeeping or workforce-management systems such as UKG, Workday, Kronos, or comparable platforms. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, operations, business, communications, human resources, organizational development, or related field. 
Position Requirements
  • Professional experience supporting large-scale organizational change, technology implementation, HR operations, payroll, timekeeping, or complex projects. 
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating communications, training, stakeholder activities, and project documentation. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, multi-department environment. 
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the assigned project manager and project team. 
  • A professional certification such as Prosci Change Management, ADKAR, Project Management Professional (PMP), or a similar credential is preferred. 
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week through the applicable contract end date. 
Hourly Wage and Selection Process
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $60 – $70/hr, as a W2, depending on qualifications and experience. Qualified applicants may be invited to participate in one or more interviews.
