The City of Aurora is seeking qualified applicants for the position of CAD LEADS Coordinator for the Police Department.

Under the direction of the Chief of Police or designee, the CAD LEADS Coordinator will provide a tailored technical operations support. Their work is of considerable difficulty in administration, development, and maintenance of the Emergency Telephone System Board’s (ETSB) Hexagon Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) System and Law Enforcement Agency Data  System (LEADS). This is a technical, hands-on position responsible for developing strategies, reviewing work flows, procedures, performance analysis, and recommendation of alternate operations and other duties as assigned.

Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, or related subject is preferred; five (5) years of general information technology, database management and networking experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Must successfully pass pre-hire requirements including but not limited to a physical, drug screen, and background check.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Starting hourly wage is $44.73/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.
