Job Description
The City of Naperville is looking for an Administrative Assistant II to provide support for the Electrical Utility. Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant II will provide moderately complex administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for the department.

Duties
Prepares correspondence, memos, reports, lists, minutes, and other documents as directed.
Contributes to the work management section of the utility by updating operations and engineering work schedules.
Works with residential and commercial customers on renewable energy grants and processes grant applications for payment by the utility and IMEA.
Responds to internal and external customer requests and serves as the initial contact point for all sections of the Electric Utility
Coordinates joint work agreements with outside entities for whom the Electric Utility installs underground equipment.
Enters requisitions and utilizes the enterprise resource planning system to ensure invoices as well as department travel are processed in a timely manner.
Performs research and project work of moderate complexity, as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
One to three years of experience in a comparable capacity.
Preferred:

Associate’s Degree
