The City of Park Ridge is seeking a Market Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Park Ridge Farmers Market. This position ensures smooth market operations, vendor compliance, and an excellent experience for patrons.

This seasonal, part-time position requires availability every Saturday from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of October, with work hours from 5:30am to approximately 1:30pm.

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise market setup and breakdown
• Set up tables, chairs, and signage
• Position garbage carts throughout the market
• Erect and take down 3-4 market tents
• Conduct hourly patron counts
• Assist in enforcing market rules and regulations
• Address vendor and patron concerns as they arise
• Send a weekly recap email summarizing any operational issues

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
