The City of Park Ridge is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support key administrative functions of our Human Resources division. Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist, this role focuses on managing the City’s Human Resource Information System (Tyler Munis) and supporting recruitment, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
Salary Range: $64,231.83 – $89,920.55*
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy and generating reports.
Manage recruitment processes for non-sworn positions, from job postings to pre-employment tasks.
Support benefits administration, including open enrollment coordination.
Handle employee lifecycle tasks such as onboarding, promotions, and offboarding.
Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with record-keeping standards.
Assist with HR programs, including wellness and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Two (2) years of administrative support experience, with enterprise software database experience (Tyler Munis preferred).
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
