Rolling Meadows, IL – Part Time Senior Social Worker

The City of Rolling Meadows is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Social Worker. The Senior Social Worker position is a professional position responsible for providing social work services to residents of Rolling Meadows. The position is responsible for providing direct services to residents, which include but are not limited to: information and referral, case management, entitlement benefit application assistance, advocacy, and facilitating programs for seniors and persons with disabilities. This position provides services out the City Hall office and the Community Resource Center.

Minimum qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, gerontology or social work from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of the latest advances in gerontology and social service care.
• Knowledge of Entitlement Benefits available to seniors and residents with disabilities.
• Experience with direct client service and evidenced based treatment approaches.

The compensation for this position is (as of January 20, 2025) is $40 per hour. This position will also receive Paid Time Off benefits.
