Chicago, IL Exciting opportunity to join the executive team of 100-year-old employee-owned business located in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the north side of ChicagoClark Devon Hardware is a thriving retail hardware store with 65 employees and multiple business lines. The executive team is seeking candidates to lead their human resources and risk management functions, with oversight over accounting functions.

Successful candidates must have experience in employee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, worker’s compensation, unemployment compensation, benefits administration and related human resources functions.  Experience in office management, including knowledge and oversight of accounts receivables and payables is highly beneficial. The successful candidate will be trained on the company’s retail operating software related to administrative functions.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in human resources administration/office management for a small or medium retail operation or similar organization; a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field is desirable but not required.  Clark Devon Hardware offers a full range of benefits. Full-time position compensation is $125,000 +/- DOQ. Hybrid work option, flexibility in daily schedule available.
