We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Senior Project Coordinator within the DuPage County Department of Community Services. The Senior Project Coordinator will be working within the Housing Supports and Self Sufficiency Unit with the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program. There are currently two (2) vacancies.

This position is Grant Funded through the end of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assists with the implementation of the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program including monitoring program performance and budget
  • Assists with development, updates, and communication of program plan to all partners – including maintenance of program FAQ’s
  • Organizes and maintains project records and maintains documentation to demonstrate compliance with applicable federal and local regulations and DuPage County policies
  • Provides technical assistance regarding applicability of program standards and DuPage County policies to program participants
  • Applies knowledge of federal and local regulations to determine eligibility of program participants
  • Uses provided systems/software to review applications, ensuring eligibility and documentation requirements are met
  • Tracks overall project performance and assures timeliness of individual compliance activities
  • Tracks funding for the project, processes invoices, and updates databases accordingly
  • Reports periodically on project status to superiors
  • Provides recommendations to superiors for improved procedures and contributes to the development of program direction and implementation
  • Prepares and presents information on programs
  • Acts as liaison for software provider, agencies, other county departments, and external partners
  • Maintains assigned program databases to ensure accuracy of information and recordkeeping requirements

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Planning or related field
  • One (1) year of experience with supporting grant or program administration
  • Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois Driver’s License
