GovTemps – Berkeley, IL – Office Specialist/Billing Clerk
GovTemps USA is seeking qualified candidates to fill an anticipated six-month temporary Office Specialist / Billing Clerk position for GovTemps at the Village of Berkeley, IL. Successful candidates will be GovTemps employees contracted to the City.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who prefer a 20-30 hour/week in this on-site position.
Primary Duties: This position performs routine administrative work, greets and directs visitors, accounts receivables for utility payments, assists in the absence of the Records Clerk, issues permits and licenses, balances cash daily, assists the Code Enforcement and Building Departments administratively, and answers and directs phone calls.
Position Requirements: Successful candidate will have graduated high school or the equivalent and have two years of administrative experience, preferably in a municipal environment or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
