About the Position: The Accounts Receivable Finance Assistant reports to the Finance Manager who oversees the internal Finance function of GovHR USA.
Responsibilities include maintaining Accounts Receivable within QuickBooks, ensuring reports are generated accurately and in a timely manner, following up on outstanding Accounts Receivable items and general financial tracking and reporting.
Position Expectations: The position has the following key responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain Accounts Receivable within QuickBooks; ensuring accuracy of all data.
- Generate 1st, 2nd, and final invoices.
- Apply payments to client accounts.
- Create bank deposits in QuickBooks.
- Create and maintain physical and electronic documents and files.
- Follow up on invoicing and payment inquiries with clients.
- Follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable.
Position Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Graduation from 2-year program with concentration in accounting, including or supplemented by 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the appropriate knowledge, ability and skills in human resources administration. At least three years’ experience with Quickbooks. Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Drive, etc.) preferred.
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate is $25/hour. Part-time position, 20 hours per week. Benefits include IRA with employer match, flexible schedule, remote work, paid holidays and paid time off. Supplemental employee paid medical benefits plan available.
