GovTemps USA is seeking qualified candidates to fill an Account Clerk position for the Village of Hinsdale, IL. Successful candidates will be GovTemps employees contracted to the Village.
This position is part-time with expected hours at 20-30 per week. This is an on-site, temporary assignment, expected to last for 2-3 months.
Primary Duties: This position is often the first point of contact when a visitor calls or visits Village Hall. Responsible for presenting a welcoming, friendly demeanor which leads to a positive customer experience. Performs Village Hall front desk cashiering and receptionist duties. This position oversees the business licensing program and is responsible for the accounts receivable function at the Village. Provides administrative support for the Finance Department and the Parks & Recreation Department as needed.
Position Requirements: Prefer two or more years of college coursework with an Associate’s Degree preferred. Seeking three years experience in a related field, preferably clerical or cashier work. Must have computer software experience and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
