GovTemps is accepting resumes for the contractual position of Interim Deputy Director at the Tri-Com Central Dispatch Center located in St. Charles, IL. Position term is six months with the possibility of an extension or full-time placement. Selected candidate will be an employee of GovTemps with services contracted to Tri-Com.
About Tri-Com Central Dispatch. Tri-Com provides emergency communications services to six Fire/EMS agencies and six Police Departments (including a community college) to a service population of 135,000. The agency averages over 130,000 calls and more than 98,000 dispatches per year. The agency serves as a MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) communications center. - Minimum of five years experience at an emergency communications 9-1-1 center with at least three years management and leadership experience.
- The candidate should possess knowledge of industry best practices.
- Ideal candidate will also have strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
- The Interim Deputy Director will be expected to develop effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and approach problem solving in a collaborative manner.
Hourly Wage: $60/hour. DOQ. Candidates can expect a flexible schedule with an estimated work week of 24-40 hours. Benefits include up to 3% employer matched IRA retirement plan and optional health insurance.
