Lake Consolidated Emergency Communications (LakeComm)

Lake Consolidated Emergency Communications (LakeComm) is now accepting applications for an IT Systems Administrator.

Under the direct supervisor of the Technology Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and security of the agency’s information technology infrastructure supporting a 24/7 public safety communications environment.

Successful Candidates:

  • Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users, vendors, and public safety personnel.
  • Knowledgeable of system security principles, patch management, access control, and monitoring tools.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with VMware, Rubrik, or Cisco Systems is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or a related field.
  • Occasional evening and weekends work may be required.

Salary Range (as of May 1, 2025): $96,088-$106,375
