Are you an IT professional looking for a rewarding temporary position? MGT partners with local governments and schools nationwide to provide top-tier temporary staffing solutions. We offer exciting opportunities for experienced Firewall Cloud Network Engineers. Placements may be remote, hybrid, or in-person and typically last three to six months, with flexible work weeks ranging from 24 to 40 hours.
Applicants should have experience working with:
- Firewall Management: CheckPoint and Fortigate/Palo Alto: Configuration, policy deployment for both virtual and physical environment. Certifications preferred.
- Data Center network management: Primarily Cisco ASR/CSR Rotuers, NX switches, remote management of configuration. With design, implementation, problem management and troubleshooting skills
- Cloud (AWS/GCP) implementation experience. Exposure to Aviatrix cloud routing platform preferred.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Practitioner, engineer or architects desirable.
- F5 (Virtual and Physical) Expertise in Load balancing technology including algorithms and health check options
- Experience with Global Server Load Balancing/GTM, Local load balancing/LTM, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS
- Knowledge of TCP as it pertains to packet inspection and network/applications
- Experience programmatically configuring Application Delivery Controllers (e.g. APIs, scripting)
- Handle network, firewall and F5 troubleshooting: To be able to support escalations from NOC at tier 2/3 escalation levels.
