Payroll/Accounting Assistant – MGT

MGT Impact Solutions is seeking candidates to fill the part-time position of Payroll/Accounting Assistant at the Northwest Central Dispatch System (NWCDS). Person will be an employee of MGT with services contracted to the NWCDS for an expected time period of 3-4 months in a temp to hire arrangement.
Located in Arlington Heights, IL, the NWCDS provides emergency 9-1-1 dispatch services to several communities in northwest suburban Chicago. The combined population of the communities is 500,000 and covers an area over 170 square miles.
Key Position Responsibilities: Processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis for over 100 employees, handling the accounts payable and accounts receivable function and providing general administrative support services.
Position Requirements: Successful candidate will have 2+ years payroll experience and some finance (AP and/or AR) experience, be familiar with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and possess exceptional customer service skills. Candidates with experience with QuickBooks and/or Paycom web-based payroll systems are a plus. All qualified candidates are welcome to apply including IMRF pensioners.
