Joliet, IL – Office of the Will County Executive – Lead Infrastructure Technician

Under general supervision design, maintain, analyze, document, troubleshoot, and repair server hardware and networks. Assist in implementing custom configurations. Install new and specialized servers and reviews, monitor and upgrade existing server and networking systems. Must be capable of high-level assessment of problems and capable of addressing those problems.

MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS: Five years on the job experience in network support and maintenance. Considerable preference will be given to those with Cisco or other networking certifications. Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN). Experience with Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.

LICENSES AND
CERTIFICATIONS: Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License required with proof of automobile insurance as required by law. Pre-employment fingerprint background check is required.

SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$100,000 D.O.Q
