- Writing:
- scopes of work for inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair and
- contract documents and independent cost estimates for invitations for bid and requests for quotation on repairs and replacements of existing equipment and infrastructure at all Pace garages.
- and administering service contracts.
- Evaluating costs for repairs, services, and improvements.
- Troubleshooting equipment and building failures to determine the next course of action.
- Periodically inspecting contractors' work.
- Performs other duties as required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree is preferred.
- Must have at least five years’ experience in:
- Building trades and construction industry (for example mechanical engineering, HVAC, project superintendent or crew leader who has overseen projects and knows the industry)
- Hands on experience with facilities maintenance (including knowledge of various trades)
- Writing:
- equipment replacement and maintenance service contracts;
- and administering service contracts for building trades; and
- technical specifications for the replacement and repair of existing building equipment and infrastructure.
- Must demonstrate:
- strong business writing skills including accurate proofreading, editing, grammar, spelling, and punctuation and
- proficiency using business software applications including email, word, spreadsheets, and online meetings and chats. (Experience in Microsoft Suite and Teams is preferred).
- A valid driver’s license. Local travel to Pace locations is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
