- Assists with
- the completion of the annual physical inventory at the headquarters, division, and carrier locations which requires an early morning start for fleet or other operational locations around their posted schedules
- processing of full cycle fixed asset accounting transactions such as asset acquisitions, transfers, warranty repairs, and disposals and
- various journal entries and month end close items
- Enters, retrieves, and prepares data and reports using an Apex Fixed Asset System and accounting journal entries and month end close via the Oracle accounting system
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- An associate degree in Accounting or Business and a minimum of one year of accounting experience is required.
- Possess and demonstrate good technical, verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Previous experience using a computerized accounting system is required (Proficiency with Oracle is a plus)
- Must be able to perform physical work during inventories including lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Local travel within the six-county region is required.

- The hiring range is $56,000 – $58,000 +/- DOQ.
