- Liaison between staff and external partners including municipalities, the state, governmental affairs, consultants, and the community to determine appropriate DEI initiatives, events and activities to achieve program goals.
- Collaborates with Human Resources, Procurement and DBE to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in hiring and retention of employees and contracting opportunities.
- Provides overview of the program and training to staff on the work plan, and policies and procedures.
- Coordinates internal and external events to promote Pace commitment and progress on achieving program goals and objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with equity, diversity and inclusion programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record. Local travel is required.
- Must have
- in-depth understanding and working knowledge of development, implementation, administration, and monitoring of equity, diversity, and inclusion programs and
- experience in DEI best practices and implementation
