Senior Radio frequency engineer – (Onsite )
Location : virgin island (Saint Thomas ) , USA (Onsite
Duration : 6+ months (possibility of extension)
Overview: RF Technicians are responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication systems. They support infrastructure across cellular networks, satellite systems, Wi-Fi, and public safety communications.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Setup
Mount and configure antennas, transmitters, and receivers
Perform site surveys and RF signal mapping
Set up base stations, repeaters, and microwave links
Testing & Diagnostics
Use spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and RF meters
Identify and resolve signal interference or degradation
Conduct performance tests and calibrations
Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventive maintenance on RF hardware
Troubleshoot and replace faulty components
Update firmware and ensure system compliance
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain logs of installations, repairs, and test results
Ensure adherence to FCC and local regulatory standards
Collaborate with engineering teams for upgrades and audits
Required Skills
Strong understanding of RF propagation, modulation, and frequency planning
Experience with LTE, 5G, microwave, and satellite systems
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Familiarity with tools like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
