- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Provide timely troubleshooting and repair for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform system imaging, data migration, and decommissioning of outdated equipment.
- Manage software installations, updates, and licensing compliance.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of installed software and hardware assets.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of new hardware and software.
- Analyze and recommend improvements for hardware and software standardization.
- Support operating system and application upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist with user onboarding, training, and general technical support requests.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including modern smartphone and device integration.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, HDI Desktop Support Technician, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) required.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience supporting PC and laptop hardware, software, and operating systems in a professional environment.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, applications, and network systems.
- Experience working in a municipal, public-sector, or multi-site organization is a plus.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard business applications.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user account setup, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of IT asset management, inventory control, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid Driver’s License
