The HR Generalist provides administrative, analytical and technical support to the Director of Human Resources Management and the Assistant Director of HRM. This position is responsible for a variety of HR functional activities including the support of the risk management and safety program and employee recognition programs. Responsible for addressing complex inquires and requests from internal and external customers. Performs Human Resources administrative work of considerable difficulty.
As part of the HRM customer service team, responds to and interacts with residents, employees, and/or others within and outside the organization in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
COMPENSATION
2026 salary range of $34.4410/hour ($71,637) to $49.8843/hour ($103,759)
Starting salary DOQ.

HOURS/SCHEDULE
Full-time – 40 hours per week
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
WORK LOCATION
Onsite – Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Rd. Hoffman Estates, IL
Performs work both independently and as part of the HRM team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Highly qualified candidates will have 2 to 4 years’ related experience
