General Duties:
The HR Generalist provides a high level of support in planning and implementing a variety of human resources functions, including general administrative support, data and records management, recruitment, risk management, training and development, wellness programs, employee events, and benefits management. This position exercises discretion, strict confidentiality and independent judgement on Human Resources administrative procedures and ensures compliance with employment related laws and Village policies in areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a work record that demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration or closely related field. 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Professional certification and previous public sector experience highly desired. Experience with New World a plus but not required.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $69,878-$97,829. Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications, but in most cases is no higher than the midpoint for the range.
Work Schedule: The position is full-time, on-site. Forty (40) hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
