Village of Libertyville

The Village of Libertyville, IL (pop. 20,800), a northern suburb of Chicago, is seeking to fill several seasonal maintenance positions in the Public Works department.

Duties: Typical duties for seasonal positions include landscaping, painting, facility cleaning, litter removal, and general maintenance in the Utilities, Streets, Parks, and/or Wastewater Divisions.

Reports to: Superintendent or designee.

Salary and Work Hours: The positions are full-time, 40 hours per week starting at $16.00 per hour. Regular work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Abilities Required: There is a need to stand, sit, stood, bend, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds with assistance), and perform other similar actions during the workday. This position performs moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.
