Round Lake Beach, IL – Police Officer (Part-Time)

The Village of Round Lake Beach Police Department is looking to add part-time officers.

Part Time Hourly Rate: $35.43/hour ($36.50 eff. 1/1/25)

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

·       Legally able to work in the United States

·       Must be 21 years of age

·       High school graduate (or equivalent)

·       Possess a valid driver’s license

·       Possess a valid FOID card (IL residents)

·       Must have been awarded a certificate attesting to his or her successful completion of the Full Time Basic Law Enforcement Training Course, as provided in the Illinois Police Training Act.

·       Must be currently employed with an Illinois Law Enforcement Agency or separated/retired in good standing from an Illinois Law Enforcement Agency. Inactive in law enforcement applicants may be required to successfully complete an ILETSB-approved law refresher course, as mandated by ILETSB.
