This position involves developing and delivering educational programs and awareness campaigns for diverse audiences, including schools, businesses, and community groups. Key responsibilities include managing partnerships, ensuring emergency information is accessible to all, and overseeing social media content for preparedness. The role also requires tracking outreach efforts, evaluating program effectiveness, and maintaining records of activities and contacts. This position oversees staff scheduling and activities as well as employee lifecycle management. Administers program budgets within EMA and seeks out relevant grant funding opportunities to support initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, public safety, education or a closely related field is required. Three (3) years in public programing and outreach required. Previous supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and minimum liability insurance required by law.
