- Foster collaborative partnerships with local sponsors to design and implement demand response services, contributing to county-wide projects that enhance access and mobility in the region.
- Ensure contract compliance and adherence to Pace policies by effectively managing contracts, providing a solid foundation for successful service delivery.
- Utilize analytical expertise to evaluate key performance indicators, such as run structures, capacity hours, and call center statistics, implementing industry best practices for service optimization.
- Drive innovation by applying analytical skills to create and enhance service designs, continually improving efficiency and recommending advancements.
- Streamline financial processes by leveraging analytical skills to prepare and reconcile contractor payments and local share invoices.
- Represent Pace at meetings and public events, engaging with sponsors, elected officials, and key stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and support the organization's mission.
- Collaborate with local sponsors, offering insightful reports and project assessments, and contribute to the development or enhancement of local service designs for improved transit access and mobility.
- Provide hands-on support in the day-to-day operations of Pace services, adapting to a dynamic work environment and effectively managing both expected and unexpected occurrences.
- Demonstrate flexibility in the work schedule to meet public transit demand, including occasional travel to project sites within the region.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Planning, Public Administration, Logistics or relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum three (3) years' management experience in demand response transit services and Mobility Management or similar experience with a good work history.
- A current and valid State of Illinois, Wisconsin, or Indiana driver's license and a good driving record.
- Experience with administering regulations of US DOT/FTAADA Transportation and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
- Highly proficient in the use of computer software specifically, Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint). A skills test to analyze this experience will be conducted during the hiring process.
- Ability to carry equipment and documents as needed, lifting, and carrying up to approximately 25 pounds.
- Working knowledge of transportation coordination initiatives and grant management to meet project goals, federal initiatives of United We Ride and Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM).
- Experience with Trapeze scheduling and routing software, Oracle and Apex databases and Adobe Docs.
