Associates may be placed permanently after a trial period in a local government. Our temp-to-hire option is a useful tool when time is needed to evaluate a candidate’s performance before the commitment is made to retain the individual permanently. In situations where a candidate may have a non-traditional background or has been in transition, temp-to-hire allows an organization the option to “tryout” a candidate with no obligation to hire if either party determines a match has not been made.
Offers local governments the flexibly to outsource positions to GovTempsUSA. These employees are placed in a participating local government but are retained as Associates of the firm. Previously selected candidates may be placed or the firm can assist the local government in finding the right candidate to perform the work specified.

GovTempsUSA will work with employers to place Associates in jurisdictions. Prior to placement, our Associates are interviewed and required to submit to a background screening. GovTempsUSA will tailor our screening process to meet the particular needs of our clients. We will find an Associate to meet your needs or work with you to place the Associate of your choice in an outsourced arrangement. Either way, working with GovTempsUSA will help you save time, reduce costs, achieve flexibility in staffing arrangements and streamline the recruitment and hiring process.
Associates - Why consider working with us?
GovTempsUSA offers flexibility in work assignments. We allow our Associates to work when it best suits them. We also allow our Associates to work as “free-agents” as we do not require the execution of an exclusivity clause. All GovTempsUSA emplyees are eligible for medical insurance and in some cases are able to negotiate paid time off with our Clients, especially when Associates are placed in long-term assignments. Long term employees are eligible to participate in a Simple IRA retirement savings plan with an employer match of up to 3% of annual compensation. As a W2 employee of GovTempsUSA, Associates are offered protection through liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We pay our Associates through direct deposit and withhold all employer taxes. We are an excellent option for those wishing to work but who do not want the obligation of paying estimated taxes and billing Clients for services. Associates of GovTempsUSA have no overhead costs, just accept an assignment, receive compensation for your efforts and leave the back-office details to us!
