Public Works Department-Management Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities: This position reports to the Assistant Public Works Director/Village Engineer and assumes a lead role in assisting the Public Works Department with the execution of Village Board directed goals including the development, evaluation and coordination of various Public Works capital projects and day-to-day maintenance activities. This position will be reporting to Lincolnshire Village Hall Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.

Additional Responsibilities: This position is also responsible for providing support for other Public Works functions including customer service, budgeting, special event coordination, policy development/analysis, communications and provides assistance to all other Village departments as needed. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and technical skills, have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum of one year of experience in municipal government or public works is strongly preferred.

A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree desirable) from an accredited college or university with related field and/or work experience is desired.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $66,220-$94,600 dependent upon qualifications. The Village offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off; medical, dental, and life insurance; and membership in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Residency is not required.
