- Coordinate and support the daily operations of the Parks and Natural Area Operations.
- Support all actions of the department comprehensive plan/needs assessment, related strategic action plans, and the development of an annual action plan to achieve those goals and advance the Parks and Natural Areas Operations.

- Support departmental projects and initiatives and coordinate and support the daily operations of the department.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Parks and Recreation, Facility Management, Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years related to park operations, planning or natural areas experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years related parks and planning experience required, including at least three (3) years of leadership experience as a manager or comparable role.
- Extensive experience in parks and recreation operations, as well as a robust knowledge of park and facility construction and maintenance
- Thorough knowledge of applicable State, Federal, and Local laws involving any playground safety or parks and open space natural areas specifications.
- Certification related to planning and development preferred, but not required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) or Executive (CPRE) through the National is preferred Recreation and Parks association is given strong consideration.
